Behaviour Management

At times, many of the children and young people at Gretton School will exhibit some form of challenging behaviour. Pupils have their own Individual Behaviour Plans (IBP) which are designed and reviewed by our multidisciplinary team, working alongside parents, to ensure consistency and continuity of approach.

Pupils are given clear boundaries and expectations which are reinforced using praise and consistency of response. Identifying and understanding the reasons behind the behaviour, whilst using consistency and positive reinforcement, is our key approach to positive behaviour management.
