Care
Our highly qualified and experienced care staff team support children and young people to develop key life skills in line with their Individual Placement Plans (IPP).
Each young person has a key worker, whose role is to link with the education team and other professionals to ensure that their care and support remains consistent at all times.
Daily routines and consistent staffing keeps anxiety at a minimum and ensures that children and young people feel safe in their surroundings and have the confidence to learn, grow and achieve.
Children and young people are encouraged to organise and participate in evening activities, including visits to leisure and social clubs, which support their Individual Education and Placement Plans.
Tailored independence programmes are designed to enable older pupils to take responsibility for their own personal development. These programmes focus on promoting choice and control as well as life skills development such as independent study, travel and cooking.
