Furry Visitor to Forest School

Writer's picture: Laura LylesLaura Lyles

Temple class had a fantastic forest school lesson this week. Students saw some Polecats on the site. They were really excited and wanted to know more about these animals.

The quote of the day from a student was; 'let's leave it alone, safe in their own natural environment'.

Students are lucky they get to see lots of wildlife at Forest School and the benefits of attending these sessions are huge, often they return to school with a sense of calm which they carry with them throughout the rest of the days lessons.

We hope the Polecat becomes a regular visitor so more students can enjoy seeing them!
