About the event
The perfect opportunity to see Gretton School and learn how we can help your child thrive in education.
Please note these events are for parents/guardians only, we cannot accommodate children for these visits.
This open day is for parent/carers of students who are in year 1 up to Year 8.
It is with regret that we are no longer exploring Key Stage 4 (September 2022) referrals for the foreseeable future (i.e. if your young person is currently in Year 9 or above, moving into Year 10 or above in September 2022).
This is due to a number of recent confirmations by the local authorities meaning these year groups are now full. So please bear in mind that it is not possible to make an application for these learners at the moment. The closure of KS4 referrals will not affect students in lower Key Stages as they move up through the school into KS4. Therefore if your young person is currently in Year 8 or below (and moving into Year 9 or below in September 2022) you may still wish to come for future reference.
It is important to stress that we do not hold a waiting list as it is in the best interests of the learners to seek alternative placement. Should you be exploring placement in the future you are of course welcome to contact us to see whether we have opened our KS4 referrals.
As the school is closed for the summer break, please be aware there may be building works being carried out and there will not be any teaching staff or students on site. It is an opportunity to look around and get a feel of the school before the start of the new term. The admissions team will be on hand to answer questions as best they can.
