Treasure Island: the panto that stole our hearts
Well, landlubbers - what a performance!
On Wednesday 11th December, students and staff of Gretton School took to the stage for the Christmas Panto: Treasure Island. Swords were swinging and young people singing, we couldn't believe our eyes when we saw the talent displayed on stage.
We are so very proud to see the confidence and sparkle in our students when given the opportunity to let it shine. The pure drama, comedy and showmanship of the Treasure Island Panto will be remembered for years to come!
Many, many thanks to all who came to see our pantomime, and to Mrs Beardmore and Ms Khairdean for their outstanding work in putting the show together.
We also thank every individual involved behind the scenes - we had some excellent help from students back-stage, on lighting and on the sound desk. We also had some lovely food made specially by members of staff, which went down amazingly in reception!
