Sixth Form staff and students have received 'Grow Your Own' sunflower kits.
Sunflowers are known to bring joy to people of all ages. There are fifty species of sunflower, native to the United States. Ranging in colour from the brightest yellow to the deepest red. Sunflowers can also be known as 'Irish Eyes' and 'Velvet Queens'.
The Sixth Form Team say;
"The whole of Sixth Form are big believers that when times are feeling a little grey, it is very important to stand tall and shine bright. We are sure that when we look at our sunflowers we will be reminded of this. We are also all feeling very competitive to see who is going to have the biggest sunflower. Take care and keep safe!"
